domain name registration
virtual web team can register a domain name on your behalf for any period from 1 to 10 years. we currently sell names ending in .info, .biz, .co.uk, .org.uk, .ltd.uk, .plc.uk, .com, .net, .org and .tv.
during the lifetime of your hosting contract we will 'administer' any domain names registered by us on your behalf free of charge. if at the end of the contract you choose to move your web site to another hosting solution we will transfer your domain name free of charge.
domains ending in .uk can only be registered for two years at a time. names ending in .info and .biz have to be registered for a minimum of 2 years.

hosting service level agreement
at virtual web team we pride ourselves on the highest levels of quality and customer service, to give our customers peace of mind we have a guaranteed service level agreement (sla).
the three major points of our service level agreement are:-
- 99.9% connectivity guarantee
- price freeze
- bandwidth guarantee
we guarantee that our network will be available at least 99.9% of the time (even though we are normally available 100% of the time). many companies offer this but not many have gone to the extent of having a fully 10/100 switched network, 3 separate backbone providers, redundant routers and fibre coming in at multiple points to the building.
should we fail this promise and our network is unavailable for more than 0.1% of the time in any full calendar month then we will refund 1 days service for every hour connectivity has been unavailable over and above 0.01% of that month. this guarantee extends in value up to a maximum of your monthly subscription charge.
we will never put your prices up during the term of the contract and that's a guarantee, what you pay today you will pay tomorrow even if the price changes to new customers.
many providers oversell their bandwidth, this means that if all their customers started to use more bandwidth then they would not have the capacity to handle this and as a result your servers would be very difficult and slow to access.
at virtual web team we guarantee that we have a 1:1 contention ratio on bandwidth. this means that we will always have enough bandwidth to service every single customer at their full capacity.
